Meaning of Fuggedaboutit

Filed under: Meaning of Fuggedaboutit — fuggedaboutit @ 2:23 am

In Italian American culture there is a popular slang usually referring to someone who has no idea what they are talking about, or stating a certain fact in the form of a question, or even being used as a substitute for a popular swearword.

In plain English it is pronounced Forget about it! But it is usually pronounced as one word as in Fu-gged-about-it. See the following examples below for its use in its proper context:

“Ya tink Franky’s pulling his hair out because of da blogs? Fuggedaboutit!!

Chaudhrys ain’t sleepin’ proply because he’s screwed up d’economy? Fuggedaboutit!!

“You mean ta tell me dat wannabe lawyar  in drag Shyster is qualified? Fuggedaboutit!!

“De taxpayers are gonna pick up de tab for di fiasco dat imbroglione Felix made? Fuggedaboutit!!

“Da President once auditioned for da  main character in Weekend At Bernies? Fuggedaboutit!!“

Hence the name of this site is politely addressed to the Interim Government.
